Job Description – Service Engineer (Eco Solvent Printers)

We are hiring a skilled Service Engineer – Eco Solvent Printers to handle installation, maintenance, and servicing of large-format Eco Solvent printing machines. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of printer operations, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver efficient on-site support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of Eco Solvent printers
- Printhead installation, cleaning, calibration, and alignment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
- Handling ink systems, dampers, capping station, and flushing
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to clients
- Performing preventive maintenance and routine servicing
- Ensuring optimal print quality and color consistency
- Replacing spare parts and repairing machine components
- Maintaining service logs and reporting work status
- Training clients on basic machine operation and maintenance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Eco Solvent / Flex printing machines
- Understanding of basic electronics and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with RIP software and printing workflow (preferred)
- Experience with Epson-based printheads (XP600, DX5, i3200, etc.) is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification
Work Environment:
- Field-based role with frequent travel to client locations
- Exposure to signage and large-format printing industry
- Hands-on work with production-level machines
